The GR100: a concentrate of operational safety features for strategic sites

Fonctionnalités métier du GR100

A poorly closed fence, an uncovered isolated area, an abnormally high temperature at a facility or an intrusion can have serious consequences for the safety of personnel and infrastructure. Ensuring the security of an industrial or strategic site leaves no room for approximation. As the number of risks increases, human vigilance and traditional surveillance methods are no longer enough to meet the demands of the field.

That’s why the GR100 autonomous robot is equipped with advanced business functionalities designed to optimise security missions, reinforce continuous surveillance and automate the collection of critical information.

Here are the 6 functional pillars that make it a value-added tool:

1. Autonomous surveillance missions in the field

The GR100 inspection robot carries out predefinedpatrols autonomously, whatever the time of day or weather conditions. It knows its route, stops at key points, detects anomalies and sends an alert if any are detected.
The GR100 patrols day and night, without fatigue or distraction.

A poorly closed gate? A silhouette in a restricted area? It stops, films and alerts you. Meanwhile, your human operatives can concentrate on higher value-added tasks and keeping them safe.

In practical terms, the tasks carried out independently in the field are :

Example of use case: night and weekend surveillance of a hazardous materials’ depot, inspection of perimeter fencing and taking thermal measurements of strategic installations.

2. Real-time monitoring of strategic sites

The GR100 is equipped with cameras (RGB, thermographic, infrared), sensors and microphones, providing a live view of the field that can be accessed via the Running Brains Operations Center (RB-OC) interface.
This same interface can be used to monitor several robots and switch from one stream to another.

Operational safety features dedicated to real-time monitoring via the RB-OC interface:

Example of use case: A person detection alert is sent to an on-call operator in the middle of the night. Rather than having to make an emergency visit, he consults the images recorded by the robot on the alert email received and/or the detection video taken by the robot on the RB-OC. Once he is aware of the situation, he decides to intervene with full knowledge of the facts.

3. Advanced fleet management

Manage several sites? Several GR100 robots? No problem. From the RB-OC, you and your team can control your entire fleet of surveillance robots.

Safety teams can :

The result: fluid coordination between agents and robots, for rapid, agile and effective intervention.

4. Interactive mapping

The RB-OC interface provides an interactive map to meet operators’ operational needs. The idea is to have an interactive view of the site with the robot’s patrol points, rounds, and temporary prohibited zones, to locate alerts on the map and to have rapid access to essential information. This nerve centre of the RB-OC enables the security team to intervene quickly.
It is also possible to trigger targeted inspections and suspicion surveys by clicking on a point on the map.

5. Detection alerts and notifications

A suspicious movement, an open barrier, a temperature threshold exceeded and the GR100 inspection robot detects and alerts you in real time. More than a notification on the interface, you receive a text message and/or an email. The content of this alert email is enriched, with a photo and location, if a person is detected. This enables the security guard to assess and contextualise the threat, and then decide what action to take.

6. Reports and Statistics

The Running Brains Operations Center* interface automatically records all the data collected by the GR100 patrol robot, including person detection, measurements, patrols and alert resolution times.

In this way, the RB-OC provides security teams with traceability and the ability to generate detailed patrol reports ( times, routes, anomalies), monitor the frequency of incidents and measure response times. Thanks to customisable dashboards, security teams can anticipate risks, justify their actions and fine-tune their procedures. Based on reliable, real-time data, the GR100 provides invaluable data for your internal audits, safety committees, or simply to improve your prevention plans.

Reports and statistics available on the RB-OC interface:

  • Safety KPIs
  • Security KPIs
  • Use and robot KPIs

The GR100 is not just a robot. It is a mobile tool and an autonomous security platform, designed to reinforce human teams, automate critical tasks and guarantee continuous, intelligent surveillance of sensitive sites.

Its autonomy in the field means you can reduce human patrols without compromising coverage, automatically identify anomalies such as open doors or suspicious movements, and patrol while minimising the risks to staff.

Whether you’re a security director, manager of a SEVESO-listed industrial site, innovation manager or private security team leader, the GR100 is areal lever for efficiency and reliability in your day-to-day operations.
